Filtering Krethel

This is another member of the krethels' clade, a calm, lanky filter-feeder. It has adapted completely to living underwater: nostrils became gills once again, hair was lost except the thin, brown mane, tail become paddle-like, the fork of the swamp-krethel divided into more and finer branches to become a feathery filtering device, and the hind hooves became convenient "anchors" to provide a steady position on the bottom for the animal. Found in shallow, coastal areas of its world (a parallel Earth), in the rich red-brown underwater "forests" (with a corresponding skin color).
